Robin McLaurin Williams is an American actor and comedian. Recognized for his varied improvisation and vocal abilities, he is often regarded as one of the best comedians of all time. Williams began performing independent comedies in San Francisco and Los Angeles in the mid-1970s, and is famous for playing the alien Mork in the ABC sitcom Mork & Mindy.
