Pamela Yvonne Tillis is an American country singer and country music actress. She is the daughter of country music singer Mel Tillis. Originally a performance singer in Nashville, Tennessee, Tillis signed with Warner Bros. Recording in 1981, she released nine singles and one album, Above and Beyond the Doll of Cutey. In 1991, she signed with Arista Nashville, first reaching the Top 40 Hot Country Songs with "Don't Tell Me What to Do", the first single out of five singles from the album Put Yourself in. Her My Place. Tillis recorded five additional albums for Arista Nashville from that date until 2001, as well as a hit album and 22 other singles. Her only # 1 hit on the country chart was "Mi Vida Loca" from 1995, although 12 other singles made it to the Top 10 on the chart. After leaving Arista, Tillis released It All Relative: Tillis Sings Tillis for Lucky Dog Records in 2002, as well as RhineStoned and his Christmas album Just in Time for Christmas on his own label Stellar Cat in 2007.
