A PROUD DIY enthusiast has taken the internet by storm after showing off the new bin shelter he's made - but can you see what everyone's talking about?

Although essential, bins can ruin the overall aesthetic of any garden - so to tackle this, one man, Adam Marshall, decided to make a shelter.

All chuffed with the outcome, the DIY master, from Nottingham, the UK, took to his social media page to show off the mini construction.

For this, the gardening fan demonstrated in the video, he built a wooden frame big enough for four bins and then added side panels in black.

Rather than opting for a simple design, Adam (@greenfingeredcityboy) decided to add a little twist - by creating a raised flower bed onto the wooden build.

To achieve this part of the project, he had to add an external gutter, as well as a pond liner and extra holes over the gutter.

After filling the raised bed with soil, the gardening fanatic proceeded to plant some vibrant flowers, going for a stunning purple and hot pink colour scheme.

''Creating a bin shelter with a living roof,'' he wrote in the caption of the clip, which has won over 310k views in one day.

But whilst the garden addition may indeed look incredible, people on social media were quick to point out to one thing in particular - the flower bed.

In their eyes, as stunning as the flowers were, they could cause some issues, with one writing: ''Attacked by bees and wasps every time you put the bins out.''

Someone else added: ''flowers that smell of the bin.''

''Error, one fundamental mistake,'' a viewer chimed in.

Others, meanwhile, reckoned the DIY project must've cost a fortune and was not an affordable option for many.

''aye cause I've got 600 quid for my bins to have a house,'' a fourth penned.

''so you only got holes for the planter where the drain is? so water will sit where there's no holes and rot the wood,'' an eagle-eyed TikTok fan said.

The craft lover regularly shares garden makeover videos on the platform, where he boasts over a whopping 50k fans.

Some of his most viral videos include building a jaw-dropping pergola for his garden, as well as tips and tricks for growing plants, especially those thriving in shady areas.
